Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I’m so sorry for your loss. Dorothy and I were close friends as young brides the first two years of our marriages when we lived in Greenville, S.C. I have such fond memories of our time together.
    Pat

  2. Angie, Boyce & Josh.

You are in our thoughts and prayers. I wish I could be their for you as you were for me. Thank you Angie for all you have done for our family. May God bless you & your family. Love Susan

  3. Angie, your mother was special to many people, her true love for friends and family will never be forogtten. I have many memories of Dot and our outtings, one of my favorites is the trip we all took to the beach, long before Casey and Josh were born, you were bitten by sand bugs, poor Dot had to go out late at night and find something to stop the itching. She would have done anyting for you. I also remember us dressing up at the S.E. Regional Obed. shows, I can see her now in the victorian dress and the big smile on her face. I remember her telling me not to eat too many olives, because of the salt, wish I had listened to her then. When Josh came along nothing could have made her any happier, he was her sunshine and her joy. I also remember when I got Bandit, her words were ‘why a Border Collie’, you have to be kidding, get a real dog…

Angie, I’m sorry I was not there with you during the last hours, you were with me when my mom passed and I’ll never forget how good it felt to have you there. I was with you in spirit.

I love your mother very much and I love you like a sister. I’ll see you soon.

  4. Angie, Josh and Boyce: My thoughts and prayers are with you, however we know that your mother is rejoycing with the angles today. You and Josh are a special legacy to your mother. She brought you up to love animals and people with an open pure hart, and unquestioning love, and the two of you have passed this gift along to Josh. I know how proud she was of both of you. Boyce, our thoughts are also with you, may God keep you strong in the comming days.

  7. Judy and Bill,

This is Tommy Koontz. I have many fond memories of the Wallen family. All of us living on the East side of Biltmore Forest;playing on Summit St. I remember Mr. Wallen planting his garden every Spring and how he shared his produce with the neighborhood. I remember Mrs. Wallen and how funny she was–she could cook a good meal, too!
Too bad that all we have is memories of those long ago days and how much fun we used to have.

We were sad to learn of Dot’s passing. She was one real lady. We know she will be missed by all who knew her.

Please know that all of you are in our thoughts and prayers.
