Doris Nadine Minish

Doris Nadine Austin “Nanny” Minish, 69, of 157 Logan Avenue, Asheville, died Friday, April 15, 2005, at Memorial Mission Hospital. Mrs. Minish was born in Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late Burgess and Stella Case Austin. She was married to the late Harris Ray Minish and was also preceded in death by a son William Minish and two daughters Patricia Luther and Pamela White. Surviving are two sons, Richard Ray Minish and his wife Dorothy of Asheville and Larry Vernon Minish of Asheville; one brother Joe Austin and his wife Marie of Hendersonville; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Chris Roberson officiating. His family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service.
