Diane Kay King 62, of 79 Frances Street passed away Saturday, January 14, 2012.
Mrs. King was born in Mecklenburg County and moved to Asheville at age 6. She attended Lee H. Edwards HS and worked as a nurse.
Mrs. King is preceded in death by mother Bernice and siblings Peggy, Peter and Joan. Father George Randall, passed away January 16, 2012.
She is survived by husband Phillip, children Rebecca, Stacey, Tony and brother Alfred Randall. She is also survived by eleven grand-children and four great-grand-children.
A gathering of friends and family will take place at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 21 at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.
