Dewie T. Reeves

Mrs. Reeves was born in Madison County and was preceded in death by her parents, Mitchell L. and Sylvania Reemes Treadway, by sisters Lee Plemmons, Hazel Payne and
Pauline Plemmons, and by brothers, Hughes and Garfield Treadway.  She was a seamstress and was a former employee of Hadley Corp., and was retired from Burlington Industries.  She was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Burder and Betty Reeves of Leicester;  a sister, Maggie
Plemmons of Leicester;  a brother, Eugene R. Treadway of Enka;  two grandchildren, Neal Ann Reeves and Robin Reeves Singleton;  a great-grandson, Reeves Malachai Singleton, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at
1:30 pm Sunday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Ronnie Owen and the Rev. Bill Gillespie officiating.  Burial
will be at Little Sandy United Methodist Church Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Travis Plemmons, Jackie Plemmons, Jeffery Marlor, Joe Treadway, Bob
Goodwin and Carl Hayes.

Her family will receive
friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
