Asheville ~ Dennis Alan Dallier, 57, of Oakley School Road, died April 29, 2005.
Mr. Dallier was a son of Margaret Hayslip Curtis of Tampa, Florida and the late Charles Dallier. He was born in Dearborn, Michigan. He was a retired Navigator with the U.S. Navy and served in Vietnam and was involved in the Disabled American Veterans Organization. He was a member of Ecclesia Baptist Church.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Dallier is survived by his brother Doug Dallier of Tampa, Florida and his close friends Ray Benfield and Mike Morningstar.
A funeral service will be held 12:00 Noon Tuesday at the Western Carolina Veterans Cemetery with the Reverend John Thomas officiating.
Military Honors will be conducted by the Buncombe County Veterans Council Memorial Team.

I was one of Dennis’ nurses at the VA hospital several years ago. I really liked him, he had such a sense of humor. I will always remember him as one of my favorite patients.
