David Blake Moss, 64, went to be with his Lord on August 28, 2026.

David was born in Buncombe County to the late Elmer Eugene Moss and Joyce Wetona β€œToni” Lowe Moss.

David was a member at Lake Hills Church. He loved the Lord and was always willing to share the gospel to a stranger or a close friend. He was the ultimate handyman and could fix anything. He enjoyed hiking, birds, being outdoors and smoking his cigar. He was a kind man who loved big and made everyone feel welcomed. He especially loved his wife Ginger showering her with gifts and flowers regularly. He loved all of his family well and will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his wife, Ginger Johnston; two sons, Hunter Moss (Anna) and Harrison Moss (Kathy); one daughter, Jewel Moss; a brother, Stephen Mills; best friends, Pinky and Doug and several cousins, aunts, uncles, and extended family and friends. David and Ginger also share one β€œchild”, their dog, Piper Lynn.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2026 at 11:30 AM at Lake Hills Church in Candler. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:30-11:30.
