CARRIE L. MASSEY REVIS Carrie Louessie Massey Revis, 93, of 95 Richmond Hill Road, Asheville, went to be with the Lord Saturday, June 19, 2004. A native of Madison County, she was a daughter of the late Dave and Jane P. Massey. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul C. Revis and a daughter, Kathleen Parham. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Survivors include her two daughters, Hazel Rogers of Leicester and Barbara Williams of Asheville; two sons, George Price, Jr. and his wife Helen of Ocala, FL and Truman Revis and his wife Amy of Asheville; two sisters, Nellie Revis of Leicester and Grace Massey of West Asheville; thirteen grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Madison County, with the Revs. Ralph Roberts and Danny Little officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Paul T. Revis, Jr., Ervin Revis, David Parham, Johnny Freeman, Jeff Bowlin and Chris Stevens. Her family will receive friends from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.

  3. My grandmother was definetly an original,she was a loving,caring,very giving person who loved her family and she will be missed dearly,but i am sure she is happy right where she is with her daughter and papaw.
