Carolyn Ann Harmon, of Leicester, gained her wings to fly away to her heavenly father and savior on June 15, 2026 at the age of 76.

Born in Marion County, Kentucky, September 17, 1949, to the late Shelby and Virginia Harmon, she is survived by her daughter, Tracy Turner (Randy), and two sons Terry Manos (Ashleigh) and Shelby (Crystal). She was blessed to be called mamaw by her 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Danny Harmon (Cindy) and Donnie Harmon; sister, Pat Harmon; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Harmon and Ricky Harmon.

Carolyn was a devoted Christian who loved to sing gospel music. Her hobbies included crocheting caps and scarfs, which she donated for the homeless and needy in our area. She also enjoyed creating poems and writing songs.

Graveside services will be at Newfound Baptist Church in Leicester, NC, Thursday morning, June 18, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Steve Freeman will officiate the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses or to Newfound Baptist Church.

Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue is assisting the family.
