Burma J. Leazer

BURMA J. LEAZER Burma Sara Jones Leazer, 75, of Asheville, died Saturday, July 5, 2003, in an Asheville hospital. Mrs. Leazer was a native of Henderson County and was a daughter of the late P.L. and Bervilee Middleton Jones. She was married to Robert F. Leazer who died December 10, 1992, and was also preceded in death by a son, Teddy Franklin Crisp. She is survived by her children Keith Leazer of Marion, Cynthia Rayfield of Enka, Nancy West of Statesville; her stepchildren, Robert S. Leazer and George Leazer, both of California, and Gloria Ledford of Fairview; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 11:00 am Tuesday at Shepherd Memorial Park with the Rev. Ricky Townsend officiating. Her family will receive friends from 7 - 9 pm Monday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue. Memorials may be made to the Lions Club.
