Arden – Betty Jane Black Clark, 75, died Tuesday, May 31, 2005 in a Henderson County hospital. A native of Buncombe County, she was the daughter of the late William Earl Black and Pauline Barber Creasman Black. She also was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Earl Black in 1987. She was a member of Long Shoals Baptist Church and retired in 1986 from American Enka with 27 years of service. She is survived by her son, Bruce Clark and his wife, Shirley, of Arden and her brother, Larry Black and his wife, Ethel, of Asheville. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Friday at Long Shoals Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Roger Rearden. Burial will follow in Roberts Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 pm Thursday at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian. Memorials may be made to Long Shoals Baptist Church Building Fund, 661 Long Shoals Road, Arden, NC 28704.

I’m very sorry for your loss, and I can understand how you must feel, since I lost my mother almost four years ago. Also, your aunt Mildred, passed way last Friday. I hope you are doing well.
