Private services for Bertie G. Scott Crook, 94, of 145 Hanover Street, Asheville, died Friday, April 27, 2001, in an Asheville hospital will
be held Saturday.
A native of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late Mont and Hester Giles Scott. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Katherine Smith and by two grandsons, Roger Turner and David Walker. She was a former nurses aide at Appalachian Hall and retired from Highlands Hospital.
Surviving are three daughters, Hazel Liverman of Suffolk, VA, Dalice James of Leicester and Patricia Shook of Candler; nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue is in charge of the arrangements.
