Born June 22, 1942 in Farmville, Virginia, Barbara was a daughter of the late Clarence G. and Virginia Tweed Shelton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Edward Joyner.
Surviving are sons, Dale Bradburn (Tina), Dewey Bradburn (Pam) and Rick Bradburn; sister, Alma Jarvis; and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Mrs. Joyner will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 31 in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home. The family will greet friends 30 minutes prior to the service, beginning at 10:30 a.m.

Aunt Barbara was part of my earliest memories. I looked forward to weekend visits with her and My cousins more than I did for Christmas! I know that my Aunt Barbara is with Jesus and I pray my family can have peace during this difficult time Knowing this. I love you all! God bless.❤️🙏
