Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I took care of Azalee Burton at Pisgah Manor. I loved her dearly. She was a very special lady to me and I know she will always be in my heart. I am sorry for your loss and I know she will be surely missed. May God be with you through this rough time.

  2. I worked at Pisgah Manor on 200 and 100 wing. I was on 200 wing at the beginning of last year and worked with Azalee, I remember feeding her she was a sweet lady. Then I started working on 100 wing this year and I worked personally with Azalee. Then she started to go down and everytime I would go into the room it would just break my heart to see her like that. I am sure that she is alot happier now and she will always be remembered. I have you in my prayers and I am very sorry about your loss.

  3. Mrs. Burton was a good friend and neighbor to me and my parents for many years. She repaired a lot of ‘cuts and scrapes’ for me when Jim and I would be playing ball or ‘cowboys and Indians,’ etc. She was always so kind and helpful to my parents and to all her neighbors and friends. When we say ‘they don’t make them like her any more,’ that truly fits Mrs. Burton.

We are spending the winters in Florida now, but I saw this obituary in the Citizen-Times on the Internet and just wanted to say how very sorry I am about her death. My prayers and thoughts are with the family and I will always be grateful for the fond memories of knowing this very special lady.

  4. Dear Elveta, We have you and all your family in our prayers. As always, call us at any time if you need us. With our Love,
    Len and Javotte
