Arnold Lacey Massey, 87, of 800 Don Felmet Road, Marshall, died Friday, May 12, 2000, in an Asheville hospital.
Massey was a native of Madison County and had lived most of his life in Buncombe County. He was a son of the late Robert and Maggie Bostic Massey and was married to Grace Bishop Massey who died in 1991. He was a retired farmer and was a member of Union Baptist Church.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Sunday at Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Phillips officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
His family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Saturday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.
