Annie Mae Roberson

Miss Roberson was born in Yancey County and was a daughter of the late D.E. and Lucretia Robinson Roberson.  She was a retired, self-employed housekeeper, and was a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by a sister, Ruth B. Griffin;  several nieces, nephews and cousins; and three special children, Bobby Hunter, Mary Hunter Kuchar, and Anne Hunter Powell.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Tuesday, March 2, 1999, in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Revs. J.R. Plemmons and Bruce West officiating.  Burial will be at Roberson Family Cemetery on Bakers Creek in Yancey County.

Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
