  5. I am so sorry for your loss! Sonny, you will be missed! I will never forget you were my 2nd boss, I was 17, when I worked at the VA in the Urology Department. Then, you were my sister’s father-in-law. I love you Ruby. I am so sorry for your loss. To all the family, whom I consider my family, my heart hurts for you! God Bless You! All my love and prayers🙏🙏

  6. Sonny and my Dad (Spook) grew up cousins and best friends, when they got together telling their story’s, there was a lot of laughing going to happen, Sonny was a great person, like my Dad he will be missed

  7. I knew you all my life grew up not far from you and kept up with news although I have lived away since 1954. We folks from Beaverdam grew up strong and thankful you made it so many happy active years. See ya in Heaven Sony.

  8. Ruby and family-
Thoughts and prayers to all. While working at the VA anytime I ran into Sonny, he had me laughing about management, staff and tales of my own Parris family members. Sorry we haven’t kept in touch. He will surely be missed.

  9. Time has a way of passing ever so quickly. I still remember how excited I would get as a young boy when Dad would take us to visit Sonny & Ruby – such good memories! Aunt Ruby, my heart goes out to you as you grieve the loss of Uncle Sonny after so many years together.
