  1. I first met Albert when we were about five years old.My family lived for a short time on Holbrook Rd. We moved away for about 10 years then back to Starnes Cove. I got re aquainted with the Hawkins family. Albert was always ready to help anyone that needed it. If all of our world was like Albert we could do away with jails. Fine man honest and hard working he will be missed.

  5. I grew up across the road from Albert and his family. You never passed that he didn’t smile and wave. I grew up looking forward to the days when Albert or Ronald would come over and plow my grandparents (Grover & Willie Penland) or my parents (Johnny & Ann Penland) gardens. He always had a smile and a wave for everyone he met. Our love and prayers to his family.
