Mrs. Hall was a daughter of the late Ephraham and Teresa Crane and was married for 78 years to Solomon Jay Hall, who died in 1998.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and is survived by her daughter, Alma Simmons and her husband James Simmons; two grandsons, Eddy Simmons and his wife Joyce Simmons and Jerry Simmons and his wife Patty Simmons; one great-grandson, Jason Simmons; one great-granddaughter, Breanne Simmons; one sister, Kathleen Smith and one brother, Fred Crane, of Canton.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm Sunday at Pisgah View Memorial Park with the Rev. Dr. Joe Yelton officiating.
Her family will recieve friends 30 minutes prior to the service at the cemetery and at other times will be at the home of Alma Simmons in Candler.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hominy Baptist Church Building Fund, 135 Candler School Road, Candler, NC 28715.
