William Joseph Rogers

William Joseph Rogers, 87, of Fairview, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2023 at the CarePartners Hospice Solace Center.

Born August 16, 1935 in Raleigh, NC, William was the only son of the late William Oris Rogers and Ruth Morris Rogers.

Mr. Rogers was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He retired from AT&T, volunteered with the Red Cross for 20 years, and was a member of The Pioneers.

Surviving is his wife, Nancy McAlister Rogers; sons, Phillip Rogers (Angela) and Brad Rogers (Brandy); step-daughters Tammy Melton, Robin Carver, and Kirsten Johnson, 9 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; and special friend, Bobbie Kornfeld.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
