  3. Dear Roseborough Family,

We are sending our sympathy, love, and condolences with the loss of Bill, who was one of our dearest friends. He was a great man who was ‘larger than life’ and he gave so much love to his family, friends, and others in his lifelong service of the Lord God Almighty. His singing we compare to the late George Beverly Shea and it was a blessing to many people.
    With love, Ron and Zoe

  4. Our entire family is saddened by the death of Bill. What a shining example of a Christian servant he was. He and our parents, James and Margaret Hutchison, were such good friends. Bill and Dad enjoyed each other’s company at the Men’s Prayer Breakfast. ..Dad being the token United Methodist! Bill was so good to visit Dad during his illness and Mom aftet he passed away. There were many connections among the Hutchison and Roseborough children. Vickie and I were in the same graduating class. On behalf of all of my siblings and myself (Donna Stepp, Jimmy Hutchison, Dee Dee Allan and Daren Hutchison), we would like to express our deepest sympathy. May you all find comfort in the knowledge that others care and share in your loss.
We’ll done, though good and faithful servant!

  6. I remember meeting Bill as a child of 10 or 11 years old. He brought me a brand new Old Timer knife and gave it to me one Sunday morning. More than just the magnitude of the gift, I was astounded that an adult had even thought about me through the week to plan something like that. He was an awesome guy and will always hold a special place in my memories.

  14. Dear Bill, Denese, and Family,
We are so sorry to learn of Bill’s father’s death. We had hoped to attend the funeral and visitation but as we know, ‘Man proposes and God disposes.’ In this case, the weather! We hope to be able to attend at the rescheduled date and that the inconvenience of the snow is not working a further hardship for you. Please be assured of our prayers. Bill Senior sounds like a wonderful man and someone whom we would have enjoyed knowing. May God bless and comfort you. With love, Suzanne and Steve

  15. I was so sorry to read about your Dad. I remember him from West Asheville Baptist Church some 50 or 55 years ago. There was never any doubt that he was a Christian. I know you will miss him but how wonderful to have had him for so many years.

  16. To Fran, Bill II, and all the Roseborough family ‘?

Though I’m sad that I will not see or hear Bill Sr. again this side of heaven, that sadness turns to contentment and wonder as I try to imagine the joy he’s experiencing at this moment and for all eternity. My prayer goes out to each of you for His comfort and peace.
