  1. Irby, I am very sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during these sad days. When I lost my dad I recieved a card from you. That meant alot. I hope you find comfort in the love and support that you are recieving from your friends, family, and coworkers.

  2. Dear Mary and Irby,

I was so saddened to hear of your loss, and join others in prayer of comfort for you and your family. Scripture tells us that to be absent from the body is to see the face of the Father, and I take comfort there. While I would love to be present with you, please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers, and I know Irby is continuing his Dad’s legacy of giving.

    In Christs love

  3. Dear Irby & Faye, I have so many cherished memories of Bill and I am so thankful that the friendship he and Mary had with my grandparents taught me that friends are often as close as family and remain in our hearts forever. Know there are so many people who Bill has positively impacted who are loving you through this difficult time. And, may you feel God’s peace and love.

  4. Mary Lou and Irby, We are so sorry
to learn of Bill’s passing. Our
prayers are with you. Love you all
    very much.

  5. Everyone should get to have an Uncle Bill and an Aunt Mary. It was always exciting when they came home to Hinton, Ga., and even more exciting when we got to go to their house in NC. We had pecan pie, pool in the basement and sightseeing. Uncle Bill had a joke for every occasion and Aunt Mary had a comment for every joke. They made Mama’s and Daddy’s last years happy with their company. Uncle Bill said Daddy’s prize truck was so weak it had to back up to go around a spider web—-but, there was nothing weak about Uncle Bill. What a blessing to be the kind of man who will be missed like Uncle Bill will be.

  6. Mary, Irby and Faye, May you feel the love of friends, family and God embrace you to help to ease your sorrow in the loss of a wonderful man. His cheerful smile and gentle manner will be truly missed. We love you.

  12. I remember Bill and Mary as two of the kindest, most wonderful people you could ever hope to meet. They always made you feel so welcome and special. The community and family were so lucky to have him for so long. He will be sorely missed!

  13. Uncle Bill was a gem of a man, I never heard him complain always a smile on his face. I loved visiting him and Mary, they would always take us on a sightseeing tour, even if it was on the truckster to Irby’s. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Prayers to Aunt Mary, Irby and family. Love you all.

  14. Mary, Irby, Faye, and family:

I was saddened to read the news of Bill’s passing. His personality was a lot like my dad’s. Their quiet reserve served as an example to all of us at Avery’s Creek United Methodist Church. We miss them and the emptiness of their places here on earth is great but heaven is full with their presence. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

  15. Irby,
God bless you and your family in this difficult time. I know you will miss your dad, and I pray that over the years, great memories of the time you shared with him will bring all of you smiles, comfort and encouragement when you need them most.
