William Henry Wood, Jr., 66, of Candler, died Thursday, June 30, 2016.
A native of Harrisburg, PA, he was a son of the late William Henry Wood, Sr., and Gwendolyn Wood. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Laura W. Fechter.
Mr. Wood was a graduate of the College of William and Mary, with a degree in Fine Arts. He worked in the interior design field in Washington DC, New York City, West Palm Beach, and semi-retired to Asheville in 2006.
Surviving are his sisters, Jennifer Wood and Elizabeth Ann Cordero; and brother, Thomas Evans Wood.
Services will be private.
Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. is assisting the family.
