Uncle Don was the best uncle that a child could ever wish for. He was loving, gentle, caring and a lot of fun. As much as I’ll miss him, I am so glad that his suffering is finally over. Doris and Tony – my prayers and thoughts are with you both.
Love, Beverly
To Don’s family: It is with much sadness that I read of Don’s passing. Also regret that I did not keep in touch with him and family. But there are good memories of baseball games at Fairview and elsewhere with ‘Pop’s’ summer teams. We were pretty good for a bunch of kids playing mostly adult teams. Don was a good player and friend on and off the field. I remember Wallace’s fast ball, too. Dot and I send heartfelt condolences to you all.
