I always looked forward to hearing Bill’s (W4TYQ) voice on the ham radio in the early mornings. He loved to talk about the old Hammarlund radios and helped me several times with restoration radio projects. I also enjoyed reading the local fishing articles he would clip from the newspapers and send them up to me in Connecticut. In return I would send him down old ham radio magazines from the 50′ and 60’s. Great guy, great 30 years of friendship, sure will miss him. Thoughts and prayers to the Faulkner family.
Our thoughts and prayers are with my sister, nephew and family! Bill will be missed in our family circle..Our Sympathy and love to all
I only knew Bill for about 10 years, but in that time he was always nice to me, and someone I enjoyed talking to. I enjoyed having him and Joann over to our house during holidays. Bill was always very appreciative of my cooking especially my potato salad. I will always remember you, until we see each other again. May God bless your family.
We were saddened to hear of Bill’s passing. He was a great guy and will be missed by all. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you. May the Lord give you comfort during this difficult time.
So sorry for your loss with Bill’s passing- It’s been years since I had seen him but did enjoy those short times we were together. Always wished we could have had a relationship but time and distance kind of took care of that. You know God gives us many gifts and blessings but memories are the one gift from God that time does not erase. Thinking of you – your in our prayers.
