Arden – Wayne Edward Annico, age 68 died January 24, 2015 at his home in Arden, NC. Wayne was born January 31, 1946 in Beaver Falls, PA. He graduated from Beaver Falls Area High School and Youngstown State University, Youngstown, OH. He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Louis Annico and mother, Irene Kelvington Annico. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Vicki Thomas Annico. Wayne and his wife lived in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, before relocating to Waynesville, NC in 1989. He retired from Mountain Adaptive, Asheville, NC in August of 2014. He previously managed Revco (CVS) Drug Stores in various locations in Western North Carolina. Wayne made friends easily and was known by many in the Asheville area for his love for life in spite of his physical disabilities. He was a friend of Bill W. A memorial service will be held, Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 11:00 am at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian on Long Shoals Road with the Very Reverend Todd Donatelli officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the YMCA of Western North Carolina.
