  1. My heart goes out to the whole family. Wanda always treated me like a grandson. Her warm smile and sense of humor will be missed. Take comfort in knowing that she has made heaven a brighter place.

  2. Wanda was a wonderful lady. I don’t think I ever saw her without a smile on her face. I knew her from the Post Office first, but then when Rhonda got married the first time is when I saw her more often and became friends with her. I saw her in the hospital just 2 or 3 weeks ago. We talked for about an hour. She called it catching up with the gossip. I am so glad that I went to visit her. My heart and prayers go out to all of her family. She will truly be missed.

  3. Rhonda, Charlie, Terry, Ron,
and to all the family and extended family.

Praying for God to hold each of you close and
wrap His loving arms around you and give you peace.
I pray that He comforts you as only He can do.
Each of you are in my thoughts with love and sincere
    sympathy.
Wanda was a wonderful giving person. I have known
her for most of my life, and I will always have
great memories of the many times she scolded me
and sent me home when I was young.
As an adult she made me laugh and she made me cry
with her gentle, caring and to the point ways.
Many times she’s lifted me up with her kindness
    and love.
I will miss her, and I am very Blessed to
    have known her.
    Heaven gained a precious angel.
God Bless you all ~ With much Love

Rest in the comfort of God’s assurance of those who know Jesus as their personal Savior will spend eternity in the presence of God. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers through this difficult situation. Great memories of growing up on ‘the hill’ and being a part of Edgewod Baptist Church. Wanda’s legacy will live on through many!

  6. Terry, Susan, Rhonda, and family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Wanda was always a bright part of going to the Candler Post Office. Her smile brightened my day. 7. She was the most sweetest awesome lady I was honored to know. My prayers and love to the family, they loved her dearly. I think anyone whom knew Wanda loved her. I will miss seeing her at Edgewood when I visit, she always welcomed me with open arms. What an amazing angel god took home. We love you Wanda Rest in peace…..

  8. I am truly sorry for your loss. I know the pain of losing someone dear to me and something that has brought me comfort is the promises found in God’s Word, the Bible. Soon, God promises to ‘swallow up death forever’ (Isaiah 25:8) and to ‘resurrect’ all of our dead loved ones. (Acts 24:15) I hope these promises bring you comfort until that time comes.

  19. Wanda was a very special lady who left her prints on so many lives. Bobby and I were always warmed by her smile and so appreciated her sense of humor, but most of all her dedication to her Lord. May you her family find the peace that passes all understanding and the comfort that only Christ can give during this time and the times to come.

  20. Wanda was a dear person, so quick to laugh and so sincere with matters of the heart. I enjoyed every conversation, every story, and every lesson that she gave me. My sense of loss is made easier by knowing that she was ready to go, but even so we were not ready to lose you. I love you aunt Wanda.

  21. Rhonda, was shocked to hear the passing of your mother this morning, after talking to you and Veronica at Rotary yesterday. May it comfort you in knowing she is with other loved ones with her new body! Please let Veronica know our thoughts and prayers are with both of you during this difficult time. 22. Rhonda… I know you and the girls are so numb and heart broken now. I know how it feels to lose a mother. I loved your mother so good, and she was more than a good friend to me; I could always depend on her whether it be for the church or me personally. Her sweet and loving spirit wo live with all of us forever; that spirit is so real. You will never be without her spirit and sweet, precious memories! Treasure them… They will be etched on your heart forever. You will miss her dearly, but cling to the promise that we know where she is and that we will see her again.

  27. Rhonda, Bill, A.J., Veronica & all extended family, It is unbelievable to us that your beloved Wanda has passed. We admired her for her strength, wisdom & wit. She had such a love for her faith, family & community. She was a neighbor you could always count on. Our fondest memories were seeing all of you always gathered for special occasions & Sunday dinners at her home. Our hearts are sad for your loss and wish you peace for the trying days ahead. It was easy to see how much she loved you all. ‘ Our deepest sympathy’.

  28. Our love and prayers are with you. She has fought a good fight. Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints. Psalms 116 :15

  29. Charley, Terry, Rhonda, Tiny. My prayers are with you. It is so difficult to accept the passing of a parent. I have such fond memories of Wanda from family get-togethers and seeing her in the Post Office back when I lived in Candler. I don’t think that I ever saw her that she wasn’t smiling and she always seemed to have that funny comment that made me laugh. Wanda always treated me like one of her nephews and always thought of her as my aunt just like one of mama’s sisters. I always knew that Wanda was a great mother and reading the other condolences gives me an appreciation for what an impact she had on other people’s lives. You can be assured she is at peace now.

  30. To the family – I have such fond memories of your Mother – I am saddened by your loss. Wanda was always a friendly face…where it being on the mail route or fussing at me and Tiny when we were about 4 years old. Your family is dear to the Murray’s and we hold you in our thoughts. Miss you all.

  31. Anyone who crossed paths at anytime with Wanda was blessed. She will be missed by all who knew her. She was a very special person to us. God bless you all.

I hope you are all well, and God bless.

I pray you all can remember her, and feel joy. Many Blessings for your continued comfort only Our Lord can provide.

  34. I just heard and am deeply sorrowful. She helped me through Bible College and treated me as a friend when I was a young man square dancing with her children. I will pray for the family. She is an awesome woman and heaven is truly a sweeter place now.

  35. Wanda was such a wonderful person I am so sad about her passing. She had such a big and caring HEART. I love you Wanda and will see you again soon. Love Pamela Lyman
