I am so sorry to hear of Peggy’s passing. She was always such an inspiration to our family and a pleasure to be around.
Kevin and Family So very sorry to hear about the loss of a wonderful lady. I know she will be missed and was loved by all.
Andrea, Amanda, and Family…
I was deeply saddened to learn of your enormous loss and while words seem very inadequate to convey my sorrow, I wanted to take a moment to offer my heartfelt condolence and assure you that my thoughts and prayers have continually been with you during this difficult time of transition.
I felt honored during the years that I was a “member of the hill” and vividly recall the tremendous love and pride that family members carried for Peggy, which was not only apparent during times of family interaction but equally prominent as you spoke so affectionately of her in conversation. Her time on earth was a gift to all of you, and her compassion, generosity, decency, and contribution to life in general were but a few of the endearing elements that indeed made her a very unique and special person.
Peggy lived her life with purpose and integrity, and she was a ray of sunshine who touched others in an uplifting manner. While I know how much you will miss her presence in the days and years ahead, I know you are grateful for the many blessings of the wonderful years you shared together, and that you can take solace in knowing that someday you will be reunited.
Another dear pilgrim has reached journey’s end and gone to rest but in taking solace in God’s grace and love, you have a very special angel watching over you now. I trust that peace from the memories of love shared comfort you now and will continue so in the days ahead.
Although the McDonald Family is now in the process of bidding farewell to a departed matriarch, Peggy will live forever in all your hearts. And, as consolation, what the heart once cherished, it will never lose.
My prayers, sympathy, love, and warm thoughts are with you, as are prayers that God will provide adequate comfort to you during this period of adjustment and mourning. Don’t be hesitant to lean on your family and friends for strength.
