We loved Vickie very much, and she will be missed greatly.She brought a lot of joy to us at Faith Fellowship Church.One of her favorite songs, ‘It’s Shouting Time in Heaven’ is on my mind today-no more sickness or pain. Praise the Lord! We are holding your family close in prayer.

To the family of Vickie
I want to offer my condolences and to assure you of a wonderful hope that the bible offers. The bible makes the promise of a resurrection at Acts 24:15. It also tells us that death will be no more. (Revelation 21:4) You can believe this because God is the creator of life and he is certainly capable of restoring it. He has resurrected people in the past and is eager to do it again. (Job 14:14,15) He will resurrect them here to the earth and you can see them again without having to die. My hope is that you take comfort in these promises and that it can in some way ease your pain at this time
Please accept my deepest sympathy in the loss of Vickie .
When we lose a loved one in death, it sometimes leaves us with more questions than answers, and often times we cannot find the comfort we desire. At 2 Corinthians 1:3, the Bible calls our Heavenly Father ‘..the God of all comfort.’ Our loving God can help us to endure any problem or challenge that we may face, including the death of a loved one. At Acts 24:15 Jesus assures us that we will have the opportunity to be reunited with our loved ones in the resurrection, to a world free from pain, sickness, death and even old age.
Sincerely,
So sorry to hear about Vickie. Our prayers are with the family. Frank & Janet Wyatt
So sorry to hear about the loss of your loved, Vickie. May the God of all comfort be with your family during this difficult time. 2 Corinthians 1:3,4

I am so sorry to read about Vickie’s death. I taught her in my English class at East Yancey, and we had recently reconnected on facebook and ‘caught up’. I will miss her. I knew about her fall, but didn’t know she had gone to the hospital. I am so sorry that I didn’t have a chance to say good-bye. Roger, I’d love to hear from you.
This world is not conclusion;
A sequel stands beyond,
Invisible, as music,
But positive, as sound.

Vickie was my BEST friend. I lived with her these last 8 months prior to her passing! I am a forever friend from California. Vickie is the sweetest one I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Her laugh is THE GREATEST joy ever! We knew one another well when she moved to San Francisco all those years past. Since I lived WITH her in her home and visited Vickie almost EVERY day @ the hospital, I was SHOCKED to find she passed on the 21st of December. I was FINALLY notified on the 23rd December through her parents! Well well, all is not well! She needed a true friend to be with her and FOR her! I WAS THERE AS NO ONE IN HER IMMEDIATE FAMILY could be or chose to be. I miss you my dear one true sweetheart, such a God gift to I and to ALL! To GOD be the Glory forever and ever Amen!
Is anyone here worthy enough to share of when VICKIE’S MEMORIAL is being held? I have NO CLUE from parents or son. Seem to be a secret of sorts….
Thanna, Vickie spoke of you when speaking with you. I’d so love to speak with you! She was quite fond of you too. If on Facebook you may reach me @ Martha Johnson request friend, I will answer. Thanks….
