Terry Leatherwood Dryman, 96, of Candler, died Saturday, October 20, 2012, at Pisgah Manor.
A native of Haywood Co., NC, she was a daughter of the late Walter Ellis and Nettie Medford Leatherwood. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clarence R. Dryman.
Mrs. Dryman is survived by a daughter, Susan Murphy and her husband, Eddie, of Edgemoor, SC; grandchildren Brian Murphy and wife Bee of Jakarta, Indonesia, Darius Murphy of Edgemoor, SC, and Jennifer Murphy of Edgemoor, SC; great-grandchildren Andra and Aidan Murphy of Jakarta, Indonesia; brother-in-law J.C. Henson of Gainsville, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at Hominy Baptist Church in Candler, NC. Her family will receive friends following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Children's Fund at Hominy Baptist Church, 135 Candler School Rd., Candler, NC 28715, or to the Lando History Center, 3801 Lando Rd., Lando, SC 29729.
