Coach was more than a teacher to me, he was always there for me and had the right things to say at the right times. So sorry for the loss of a great guy. I spent many days with the Anders family growing up. We had to hide our baked grilled cheese sandwiches from Steve. As the years have passed so quickly I am honored to be friends with y’all. May your heart be healed with precious memories that nothing can replace. Deb and family my heart breaks for all of you. Please know that he loved his family tremendously. Even on the dreary days to come, a fond memory of Steve will always warm your heart and a smile to your face. I am blessed to have been able to spend time with the Anders families some of my fondness childhood memories are sharing time at Bill and Ruth’s house. Pam I pray God will take care of your hurt. You,Sondra and myself gave Steve a run for his money. Yes Steve was definitely a challenge when growing up in Oakley. He made us laugh a lot and I think we shed a few tears he caused. Wanda kept him on his toes many times. Take care of each other and if I can help in any way please let me know! Gene I know how close you and Steve were, You are a good brother and helped Steve so much. Love y’all.
May you rest easy, kind sir. I sure did love talking about you and my parents growing up together when I was growing up – during your class. You had a way with storytelling! And funny. So warm and willing to listen, also. You are going to be missed.
One of the best friends I ever had. We shared many adventures in Oakley and roaming the halls of ACR, both as students and teachers for decades. You will be missed
