Shirley Maxine Owenby Fuller, 59, of Hot Springs, died Friday, September 20, 2013, at John F. Keever Solace Center.
Born in Buncombe County to the late Raymond H. and Viola Tweed Owenby, she worked as a CNA and was a member of Hot Springs Freewill Baptist Church.
Other than her parents she is preceded in death by sisters, Hazel Owenby, Rebecca Creasman and Marva Bradley.
Survivors include her husband, Marvin Fuller of Hot Springs; three sons, Douglas Jack Bradley of Dysartsville, Jeffrey Gerald "Moon" Bradley of Black Mountain and Nathaniel Shane Bradley of Nebo; brothers, Roland Owenby of Black Mountain, Raymond R. Owenby of Hot Springs, Brisco Owenby of Fairview and Danny Owenby of Oteen; sisters, Jewel Tester of Sugar Grove, Corlus Goforth and Alma Hopson of Hot Springs, and Annette Austin of Waynesville; four grandchildren.
Services will be held at Groce Funeral Home on Tunnel Road, Tuesday, September 24, at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Mickey Church and Roland Owenby will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be in Grassy Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.
Groce Funeral Home on Tunnel Road is assisting the Fuller family.
