Shirley Hyde Curry

A native of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late James Game Hyde and Edna Irene Boone Hyde and was preceded in death by a brother, Robert ''Bob'' James Hyde.

She was a former clerk at Town House Bakery and later did nursing in the Asheville area.

She is survived by one daughter, Carlene Lunsford of Tampa Bay, Fla.; one son, James Frederick Curry of Asheville; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 11, 2000 in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian in Arden, NC.

Interment will follow in Green Hills Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 P.M. until 8:30 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
