Sherry Goldsmith Carver

Sherry Goldsmith Carver, 67, passed away Monday, July 10, 2023, at the CarePartners Solace Center.

Mrs. Carver was born July 19, 1955, in Asheville to the late Martha Hollifield Goldsmith and Walter M. Goldsmith. She was married to the late Jerry Lee Carver II. She loved children and dedicated most of her working life as a caregiver in childcare centers.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her daughters, Sherry Hayes (Horace), Lorrieanne Robinson and Sarah Price; sons, Jerry Lee Carver III and William Joseph Carver, and five brothers, Walt, Russell, Michael, Gary and David Goldsmith.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. Friday, July 14, at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.
