Mrs. Reece was born February 25, 1945 in Buncombe County to the late Willis Kenneth Pruette and Lottie Mae Davis Pruette and she was also preceded in death by her son, Jeff Murray, who died in 1998. She was a former analyst and salesperson in the chemical industry.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Luther Reece and sister Mary Kathryn Pruette (Kay).
Private interment will be at Green Hills Cemetery.

Dear Cousin Sandra: I have tried to call both you and Kay to find that your phone numbers were both disconnected. I was very upset when Kay called, very fortunate that she remembered my phone number. It was such a shock to hear the news. Please know that I love all the time we have spent together (in person and on the phone). I know that Jeff welcomed you with open arms. Rest In Peace.
