Kim, Kirby and families,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Your Dad was a very special man, always smiling and with a kind word for any and all. He will be greatly missed.

I saw Sam frequently at Candler Feed & Seed while he was still getting out. He was a great guy to be around. Where he is now, he wont have to hold his coffee cup with both hands. I’m glad that God made a way for us to see our friends and loved ones again.
Dearest Kirby: We will be thinking of you and your family during the loss of your dad. We love you all so much.
Sam’s Family,
I met Sam at Ball Brothers glass when I was 22 years old. I am now 63. My dad was killed when I was 2 years old and I never had any brothers so I had to look outside my family for a father figure and men like Sam fit the bill. Oh! how he really filled a void in my life! Surely, God must have smiled when he made Sam Burton and the way he conducted his life. I feel good in envisioning that God and Sam are sitting side by side somewhere out there talking trade!
Thanks Sam,(that was my dads name too)for the memories!

Kim,Connie and I were sorryto hear about your Dad.You are in our thoughtsand prayers.
jOE, kIRBY, KIM, MARGARET, AND FAMILY,
I am so sorry to hear about Sam and so sorry I am out of town during this hard time for you all. Sam is one of the most special people I’ve met in the life of the church. His years of coming to Bible Study after Ruth’s death was a testament to his faith and God’s power to bring healing and blessing in time of loss. Sam found God’s help by drawing close to the church and his God in study and fellowship. God also blessed him and Margaret with each other. It is hard to remember how good God is at these times but you all have known His blessing too. I will check on you all when I get back from New York. I will pray for you today and I hope Joe or Rob can help you through this afternoon.
To all of Sam’s Family,
I am very sorry to hear about your loss. I will keep each of you in my thoughts and prayers.
Dear, Kirby, Kim and families
I was so sorry to hear of Sam’s death. I have many wonderful memories of him and of how he was always there for my Mom and Dad, sisters and me. He and Ruth were always available when we needed help with anything. He gave me such good advice many times with all kinds of maladies my pets had. He was a very special man and all who knew him will miss him very much.
I got to know Sam in 2000, when we became neighbors. He was checking on me to see if he do something for me.He was a good man, great neighbor, and will be missed by all.
