Ruby Seay Benson Kent, 78, of Hendersonville, died Monday, January 25, 2016, at the Laurels of Hendersonville.
A native of Buncombe Co., she was a daughter of the late Orval and Ethel Seay. Mrs. Kent loved life and lived it to the fullest.
Surviving are her daughters, Wanda Benson and Annette Burgess and husband Toby; grandsons, Dennis Benson and Jason Cucumber; brother, Jack Seay and wife Wavel; sisters, Freida Seay, Jean Clark, and Nellie Deweese and husband Floyd; her little dog Hobo and her cats; and lots of loving friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday at Groce Funeral Home, Patton Ave., with the Rev. Ron Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
The family wishes to express special thanks to little Steve Pridmore for all his help and to the staff of The Laurels of Hendersonville.
