Candler, NC
On Thursday, March 26, 2026, Roger Gordon Harden courageously stepped into eternity leaving behind a legacy of boundless love, unwavering strength, and unshakeable resilience.
Left to continue his legacy is the love of his life, Casey Willette; two sons, Sebastian Bobbie Harden and MaCaleb “Oobie” Zachary Silver-Harden (Hayden); mother, Linda Fender; brother, Nick Harden (Robyn); sister Cheryl Shook (Jerry); nephews, Chaigion Robinson and Jonah Clark; and sister-in-law, Staci Hoffman (Chris), as well as countless family, friends, scouts, hunting buddies, and anyone else who showed up to a party that he took such pride in having.
Their solace lies in the fact he will never have to know one day without his love.
Forever in peace, his spirit remains an unbridled beacon of light illuminating their way forward. Roger never met a stranger and never made an enemy.
A visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave.

We are heartbroken over the loss of Roger. He was a wonderful person. Our family is forever grateful for the role he played in raising our sons (and many others) into the men they became. Casey, Sebastian and Oobie we love you guys and are praying for you! We are better for having known him. He raised two of the best children I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.
Life is a little dimmer without Rogar, when he showed up the world seam brighter, full of love for everyone around him. Wasn’t that he took center stage but was the light than shone on everyone around. He will be missed. Hugs love and prayers to family and friends 🧡
