roger harden

November 27, 1979 ~ March 26, 2026

Born in: Southfield, MI
Resided in: Candler, NC

On Thursday, March 26, 2026, Roger Gordon Harden courageously stepped into eternity leaving behind a legacy of boundless love, unwavering strength, and unshakeable resilience.

Left to continue his legacy is the love of his life, Casey Willette; two sons, Sebastian Bobbie Harden and MaCaleb “Oobie” Zachary Silver-Harden (Hayden); mother, Linda Fender; brother, Nick Harden (Robyn); sister Cheryl Shook (Jerry); nephews, Chaigion Robinson and Jonah Clark; and sister-in-law, Staci Hoffman (Chris), as well as countless family, friends, scouts, hunting buddies, and anyone else who showed up to a party that he took such pride in having.

Their solace lies in the fact he will never have to know one day without his love.

Forever in peace, his spirit remains an unbridled beacon of light illuminating their way forward. Roger never met a stranger and never made an enemy.

A visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave.

  10. I only knew Roger as his client. He put tile in my house. From the moment I met him, he was everything kind and friendly. He made sure the tile was perfectly beautiful in a way you would never notice, just blended. He was the most wonderful kind of perfectionist. He was never rigid in his opinions, just highly knowledgeable so he could say that it was up to me, but… We laughed a lot as we worked through the designs. He talked so lovingly and proudly of his sons. I know they will miss him terribly. Roger’s kindness, sense of humor, and talent will be missed by many. I wish his family the blessing of happy memories.
