Mr. Snyder was born October 31, 1931, in Binghamton, NY, to the late Roland E. Snyder and Margaret Strattan Snyder. Robert was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict (1952-1955.) He was a graduate of San Jose State College (San Jose, CA) and a retired Certified Public Account.
He is survived by his wife, Aaliyah Yasmeen Snyder; three biological children, Alan, Kim and Shannon; eight “bonus” children, Melanie, Melissa, Michelle, Melinda, Ahmed, Medina, Monica and Malikah; twenty-eight grandchildren; and eighteen great-grand children.
Funeral services will be private with interment at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
