Robert B. Cheek, 59, Professional Land Surveyor ascended to Heaven on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 after bravely enduring ALS disease.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Jeanette; daughter, Erica Ryan; grandchildren, April and Giovanni; his brother, Michael; step-mother, Sheila; half brother, David Lathson-Keene and the family patriarch, his uncle, William W. Cheek.

A memorial service will be held at a later date when gathering restrictions are lifted.

Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian is assisting the family.

This is Zip I use to spend the night with you and your family .mike was my friend and Bob done my survey and with talked about Mike and wanted to ask about your mother but I was afraid something may have happened but I wanted your family to know you have always been with me and i Love you and your sister may God keep you close
