  1. Brother Jack was a dear friend of my daddy (Rev. R. A. White, who lives in Morganton) and of mine. I’ve heard him preach the word many times and sang at services with him. Our Lord is calling his ‘old time’ faithful servants home one by one. I am reminded of so many who have left this vale of tears that Brother Jack and my daddy preached together with and fellowshiped with. Daddy is not able to do many things because of his heart. I will let him know of his brother’s passing – he loved him so. Just think, we may have all spent our last Christmas together on this earth because all of us may be at home with Jesus next Christmas!! I get homesick just thinking about it! How wonderful it is to have many precious and sweet memories. Our prayers go out to you all. May Jesus hide you under HIS wings, shelter you, comfort you and protect you. HE will not forsake you now – HIS promises are true!
