Rebecca Elizabeth Gilliland

Rebecca Elizabeth Gilliland Hendersonville – Rebecca Elizabeth Gilliland, 87, of Hendersonville, died Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at her residence. A native of Henderson County, she was a daughter of the late Everette and Fannie Fowler Gilliland. She was also preceded in death by her sons, Mont and Marty Gilliland as well as two sisters, Gracie Kitchen and Mae Dorn. A full-time loving mother, Rebecca retired from American Enka and had worked in the bakery department at Ingles until she was 82 years old. She is survived by one niece, several nephews and many friends who adored her. A private service celebrating Rebecca's life will be held at a later date. Her family graciously asks that in lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in her memory to Charlie's Angels Animal Rescue (www.wncanimalrescue.org).
