Ransom Ross "Randy" Reese, 65, of Leicester, died on Thursday, July 7, 2016, at the CarePartners Solace Center.
A native of Henderson Co., Randy was a son of Mrs. Worley Emma Allen Reese and of the late Roy T. Reese.
Mr. Reese worked for many years as a mechanic with Crown Cork & Seal, and was a member of Leicester Baptist Church.
Mr. Reese will be remembered as a loving husband, father and son.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Willie Faye Fowler Reese; daughter, Karen Michelle Meade; son, Thomas Wade Meade; granddaughters, Savannah Faye McCurry and Cassandra Marie Sprouse; great-granddaughter, Peyton Ryleigh Sprouse; and brothers, Leroy, Jack and wife Debbie, and Glen Reese.
The funeral service for Mr. Reese will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday at Leicester Baptist Church with Pastor Chad Ellege officiating. Interment will follow in the church's cemetery.
His family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the church.

I worked with Randy at Crown for many years. My condolences to his family from bottom of my heart. Think about those years all the time.

I worked with Randy for many years at Crown Cork & Seal…We also went on a few fishing trips together…He always told you like it was…no matter the consequences. He was a great friend…and will be missed dearly
