Always remember her as ‘her way or the highway’. I think she retired a long time ago in her mind. I just wish she had done it on paper.You and your personality will be missed!
My prayers are with you family at this time. I enjoyed working with Phyllis when I got the chance to, She reminded me so much of my own Mama, beautiful,loving, sweet and a sense of humor that was so funny. Phyllis would make a room stand still just walking into it. God bless you all and I pray God gives you all the grace sufficient enough to go thru these next weeks to follow.
To the Cox family,
Although I didn’t work directly with Phyllis I will always remember her kindness to me and her willingness to help wherever she was needed. I know she was well respected and loved at ARC and she will be sorely missed. She was one of the best we had. She always thought of and supported her staff. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this very difficult time.

Gary — I’m not sure that I ever knew your wife, but I do remember you from our Science Hill High School days. You probably remember me as the drummer. I now am a Music Minister and a Christian counselor. It’s always hard to lose a wife, but especially so in such a sudden way. My wife & I will be praying for you during this time and the days to come. May the Lord give you comfort and peace. God bless! — Bobby Joe ‘B.J.’ Tipton
Chris we know that you moved here to be more a part of your Grandmother and Grandfather’s lives. You’re a really great youngman and we’re lucky to have you part of us. Your Family is in our thoughts and prayers.
Gary;
My sincere condolences to you and your family.

Dear Gary, David Michael and Family, and the dogs:
A few weeks before Phyllis’ tragic accident, I was searching through the remains of my Red Cross things (I’m retired)and discovered an unopened card with Phyllis’ distinctive handwriting on the envelope. On the card was the most sincere and genuine goodbye note from her. Phyllis and I often worked hand-in-glove at ARC. She was a generous and loyal supporter of her team mates and staff. Her generosity will take her spirit to where it will be most valued. Gary we are comrades in loss. Blessings and Condolences.
