Peggy Edmonds Bing

Fletcher – Peggy Edmonds Bing, 79, of Wildwood Forest Lane, departed this life on Tuesday, October 16, 2007. Mrs. Bing was born in South Boston, Virginia to Walter and Amelia Wood Edmonds. She was preceded in death by her parents and two children, Ernest E. Bing, Jr. and Evelyn Edmonds. She was a retired social worker with the State of New York with 32 years of service. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Ernest Edward Bing, Sr.; two daughters, Christine Bing Logan of Asheville and Elaine Roston and her husband, William of Stone Mountain, GA; seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, one brother, four sisters and a number of nieces and nephews. A service will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, October 24 at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
