Pearl Pollinger Rosenthal

Pearl Rosenthal, 94, of Asheville, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2015. Born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Samuel and Rebecca Pollinger, she was a folk dance instructor at the Asheville Community Center. The seventh of eight siblings, Pearl was a superb cook, devoted mother and wife. She lived in Hawthorne Village in Asheville for 22 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Rosenthal and daughter Denise Glick. Survivors include her step-son, Robert Rosenthal of New York, NY, and several nephews, nieces and friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Groce Funeral Home on Tunnel Road is assisting the family.
