Pauline Murray Parris

Pauline Murray Parris, 88, of Candler, died Sunday, February 28, 2016, at StoneCreek Health and Rehab. A native of Buncombe Co., she was a daughter of the late Cecil and Eula Warlick Murray. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank Eugene Parris, daughter, Pam Taylor, and brother, Cecil Murray. Mrs. Parris worked for B.A.S.F. in Enka. She was a member of New Morgan Hill Baptist Church. Surviving are her daughter, Ceceale McKinney and husband David; son, Al Masters and wife Linda; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday in the Patton Ave. chapel of Groce Funeral Home, with the Rev. Roy Houston officiating. Interment will follow in the New Morgan Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to the Lake Hills Church "Loving Touch Ministry", 370 Lake Dr., Candler, NC 28715.
