She touched many young lives and cherised their memories. Mrs. Jones is survived by her daughters, Almeria "Peanut" Waldrop and husband Michael, of Candler, Shelia Passmore and husband Jerry, of Mooresville, Lesia Craig and husband Tony, of Candler, and Pamela Goodson and husband, Levon, of Candler; sons, Earnest Jones and wife Celina, of Candler, and Ricky Jones, also of Candler; sisters, Hannah Sams, of Candler, and Marge Calabrese, of California; daughter-in-law, Linda Jones; nine grandchildren, including two cherished ones, Angie and Stephanie; four great-grandchildren and her loving best friend, Gladys Hensley. Interment will follow at Pisgah View Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be Nathan Jones, Marc Craig, Michael Childs, Justin Goodson, Mike Waldrop, and Nicolas Waldrop, who is serving in memory of Brian Childs. Many thanks to the special people at Pisgah Manor Nursing Home for their care and dedication to our mother. You may be gone from this earth but it is not forever. It is so long till we all meet again in Heaven. There will not be a day that goes by that we don't miss your smile, laughter and your stubbornness. Mommy, we love you and will carry on all your goodness and wonderful gracefulness through out the rest of our lives. We can hear your shouts from Heaven.

We would like to share a poem that we find helps when mourning the loss of a loved one. It’s called Miss me but let me go.

When I come to the end of the road
and the sun has set for me,
I want no rites in a gloom filled room,
why cry for a soul set free
miss me but let me go.

Miss me a little but not too long
and not with a head bowed low,
Remember the love we once shared
miss me but let me go.

For this is a journry that we must all take
    and each must go alone,
its all part of the masters plan
a step on the road to home
miss me but let me go.

When you are lonely and sick of heart,
    go to friends we know
and bury your sorrow in doing good deeds
miss me but let me go.

Amy and I are so sorry over the passing of your mother.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
It is said that when someone dies, an angle comes down and takes that person under their wings and fly’s them over every place they’ve every loved. Just before lifting them up to heavens gate; the angle helps gather flowers to give to our Lord.
    Rest assured, Pauline is home…

  32. Dear Almeria and Family,

Psalm 18:2 is a great help..she is with the Almighty One as we all will be one day.. Just think what a family reunion that will be..All Honor , all Praise to the Three Times HOLY GOD..
    Love and Prayers, Pat

  33. Dear Almeria,

Over the years Morgan has shared many stories of you and your mother that have made me laugh since they remind me of Morgan and myself. Both of you are ‘sparky’ young women, and if your mother was anything like me, I am sure she must have wanted to light a fire to you–somewhere! She must have been very proud of you and with every good reason. I know how you will miss her and my love and sympathy are with you and your family.

She contributed much fun and spunk to the Activity Program here and I feel both blessed and fortunate to have had the opportunity to know her. We miss her already, however I often smile when I think of her and that special twinkle in her eyes as she would roll past my office to join in the fun with her friends here at Pisgah Manor. My prayers are with each of you. God Bless you and thanks for sharing her with us!
