Paul Richard Brookens

Paul Richard "Rick" Brookens, Jr., 49, of Swannanoa passed away on Thursday March 27, 2014 at his residence. Born in Buncombe County to Hettie Ogle Brookens of Swannanoa and the late Paul R. Brookens, Sr. he was a maintenance worker with Rental Property. Survivors other than his mother are his daughter, Tabitha Brookens of Swannanoa; sisters, Rachel Davis of Asheville and Sandra Anderson of Clyde; and grandson, Braxton McKinney of Swannanoa. A private graveside service will be held Monday at Lewis Memorial Park. Rev. Gary Coates will officiate.
