Asheville Butterfly TrailPatrick H. Stager, born on April 18, 1934, passed away January 24, 2021 after a short battle with lung cancer. He is preceded in death by his wife, Dixie H. Stager.
He is survived by his niece, Brenda Wedding of Waldorf, MD and his friend Carolyn Nieburg of Asheville, North Carolina.
Patrick was a member of the US Army. He lived and worked in the Washington D.C area prior to moving to North Carolina with Dixie in 1996.
Patrick had many talents and loved life and people. He met people with a smile and a hello. He enjoyed time spent with Carolyn over the years and, his beloved cat. Patrick will surely be missed.
Patrick’s wish was to be cremated without funeral.
