Nancy Rose Williams

Nancy Rose Williams, 83, of Asheville, passed away on Monday, August 29, 2016 at Chunns Cove Assisted Living Center. Born in Wise County, VA, to the late Robert B. and Josephine Wells Hill, she worked in the retail business as a dress buyer. She is preceded in death by her husband, John W. Williams and two sons, Larry and Gary Williams. Survivors include one son, John W. Williams, Jr. (Polly) and three daughters, Melba Garrison (Randy) and Jo E. McKinney both of Asheville, and Joan Bowers of Dayton, TN; nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, seven great, great grandchildren; two sisters, Della Williams of Baltimore, MD and Brenda Ganzemueller of FL. A private graveside service will be held at Church Hill Memory Gardens, with Rev. Don Crabic officiating. Groce Funeral Home on Tunnel Road is assisting the family.
